A proposal for hike in circle rates has been put forward by authorities earlier this month for Noida and Greater Noida. From residential perspective, the notification proposed – 1) Upgradation of some sectors to higher circle rate bracket (category) and 2) Change in circle rates for sectors falling on metro route. The proposed hike in circle rates in Noida and Greater Noida is based on proximity to metro route.
The following sectors in Noida have been upgraded to a higher category thereby increasing their circle rate. Among the new group housing sectors sector 70 to 78 are the notable sectors that have seen an upgrade from C to B category leading to proposed circle rate hike:

Please note that the above circle rates are for allotment of land for residential purposes e.g. plotted residential development. However, group housing development will have a different set of circle rates applicable to them. They would however too see a proportionate impact due to the above hike in circle rates in coming time.
The above proposal from administration is open for feedback from residents and some responses have been received. The final outcome of Proposed hike in circle rates in Noida and Greater Noida is still awaited.
