List of best schools in Gurgaon
Dear Parents, after an extensive research of schools, we list down some of the best schools in Gurgaon at the moment. We considered around 55 schools for the Survey and arrived at the list of 40 best schools in Gurgaon / Gurugram. This includes both the best CSBE schools in Gurgaon and the best ICSE schools in Gurgaon. This year, Heritage school faced tough competition from Shriram Aravali after 2019 board results were taken into consideration. The two schools are neck to neck at the top in our latest Survey. As you would find below, the list is arrived to on the combined basis of key parameters like Academics, Individual attention to child, Infrastructure, Parents-Teacher interaction and general safety standards for the child. Parents looking for a particular characteristic in school can sort this list by the same. Parent reviews, interaction with some of the schools, social insights from online portals and board results are some of the key inputs to this list (Fees for different schools can be seen at: https://go4reviews.in/category/blog/education/gurgaon-schools/)
The basis for arriving at overall ratings for the school is as follows: We have taken 20% of Academics, 20% of Safety/Security and 20% of Individual attention to child as key parameters for overall ratings. Other than these parameters, 15% of Co-curricular, 10% of Extra-curricular and 5% each of ‘Parents-Teacher Interaction’, ‘Infrastructure’ and ‘Teacher Welfare’ have been considered.

- Safety/Security – Defined by Safety measures at Gates, CCTVs, Number of Floors, flooring/pool/play area safety, Bus safety standards, Parents Feedback.
- Infrastructure – Defined by facilities/amenities and quality of infra.
- Parents involvement – Defined by PTMs, Number of Events where parents are invited, Parents Feedback.
- Co-curricular -Defined by Intra and Inter school Events conducted, Parents Feedback.
- Extra curricular -Defined by Intra and Inter school Events conducted, Association with Play academies, Play area infra, Parents Feedback.
- Teacher Welfare -Number of holidays for teachers, average working hours, Teacher Welfare Survey feedback.

The Survey for best schools in Gurgaon took the following into consideration:
- Survey forms submitted by 3 to 5 Parents and 3 to 5 non-Parents for each school/Desk Survey
- Survey form submitted by schools (Around half of 55 schools didn’t respond to requests and for such cases, the weight-age of consideration # 1 was extended)
- Teacher Survey form submitted by teachers where received

This article definitely helps Gurgaon parents. Rather than these schools I recommend Blue Bells School Sector 50 . It seemed that the overt academic excellence was matched by the more precise, but also more important, authentic intellectual dimension. The teachers are very supportive and we love the diversity of both the students and the staff.
well compiled list! .. However one name is missing is Shemford (sec 47) . We are a working couple and were confused last year.. someone told us about Shemford.. we loved the concept and kiddo loves the school as well

How is heritage in comparison to shikshantar, kuns dlf and scottish high. i have drilled down to these options and need your help in deciding,
I am confused between dps 45 and shiv nadar. dps 45 is easier on budget and good on academics while shiv nadar has great reviews from parents mostly…
if you are ok with not so bothering teachers once child reaches class 6th, dps is for you. else go for shiv nadar without second thought.
Heritage is a different league. The support parents get from the school is immense. It is on this very approachability part, that heritage excels over Shriram. Rest is similar. And if one really likes going slow with academics, shikshantar can really surprise you.

Admissions set to start in gurgaon by July 10th
Which all schools have started taking online classes? What’s the feedback from parents?
Almost all schools now. Parents are not happy. More fees they are giving, more unhappy they are.
Which all schools are still taking admissions in Gurgaon? Please help, looking for class I.
I have come from Hyderabad last week and looking for admissions starting 1st APril. please advise good school where I can get admissions starting 1st april in nursery.
I was in similar situation as yours last year. try suncity 37d and gems academy. visit and decide for yourselves. they must have seats still.
This list is quite exhaustive. I visited TSMS last week and really liked the improvement and infra growth in the school. Outside road is still in infancy but school has gone upwards.
I stay in sector 8x and looking for a school for nursery for my kid.please advise and when will admissions start there…
Try TSMS if its not very far for you.
How is chalk tree and paras world school please.
Both are ordinary. For primary classes, they are ok but not beyond that. My POV.

If you don’t worry about academics, go for it.
As per the ranking, HDFC School has made good jump. My son is studying there and i see it as a viable option for parents
And St Xaviers has gone down the ranking…

I agree that results of LVIS has been very good but the staff Needs to improve and be nicer to parents
