What all documents shall the builder keep at the site

As per Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway bylaws, the following documents shall be kept at site during the construction of the building and for such a period thereafter as required by the Authority:

i) Copy of building permit – you can find what seismic zone the building is to cater to looking at the permit.
ii) Copy of approved drawings – you can find wall width and ceiling height from structural drawings.

In case building permit has not been granted and applicant has applied for building permit then copy of receipt of documents shall be kept (wherever applicable) at the site.

The directions to keep these documents at the site are provided to the builder as part of the land lease process.
Hence, absence of these documents shall be a reason enough for objections from buyers.

A potential buyer can also inquire about these documents when visiting a project site to identify whether the builder is transparent or not.

Comments/Feedback invited.
