We discuss few of the best hotels and resorts in Udaipur that have consistently won traveler’s hearts on different parameters:
With a lake view:
For somebody with a good budget, both Leela palace and Taj lake palace are the best available options for a lifetime experience. With a breathtaking lake view and well maintained interiors and lawns within, these two ultra luxurious palaces are the obvious choices for many travelers.
With a lake view on budget:
Jaiwana haveli. At a partly 2500 to 3000 Rs per day, this just next to Pichola hotel is bound to be admired by you.
Frequented by Indians and Foreigners alike, this is one of the best options that would fit a tight budget. The food is good and rooms are satisfactorily stocked.
With a hill view:
Ramada Udaipur is a good choice in case you hold affinity to hills. The courteous staff and excellent food in the open with the backdrop of hills add to the touch of luxury the hotel offers.
For business purposes:
Amantra comfort in the middle of the city near Railway station is a great option for business stay. It offers good quality food and is equally liked by families as well. There is however little to do within the hotel.
For a leisure stay:
Trident Udaupur near Fatehsagar lake is a great option for a complete leisure stay. The service is exemplary and the kids can have a great time there too owing to huge gardens and open areas on offer.
A new entrant:
TatSarassa is one of the latest entrant to a host of resorts in the city. With its rustic touch and a peacful surrounding, it surely invigorates its guests. The food spread is also considered sumptuous.
A surpise:
Devra udaipur is at outskirts of Udaipur city but provides with an excellent home stay like choice that comes with an added advantage of a beautiful and peaceful setting along with a warmly staff that is expected to make you feel special.
