Best schools in Noida 2018
Before you read the complete list of Best schools in Noida 2018, it is important that parents realize that there is no binary in school education system. A school can not be simply classified as good or bad just because a survey comes up with particular perception of the school. A lot depends upon the kid’s upbringing prior to schooling and a lot depends upon the kid himself/herself. At the same time, before searching for a school, clarity of thoughts is essential. Answers to these questions are a must have: Do you feel the child is smart and confident enough and only needs a right academic direction? Do you feel all that the child needs is to grow in confidence? Do you feel child needs to find a career in sports or other extra co-curricular opportunities? Do you feel you can put the extra hard work by taking your kid to coaching/training in sports/music etc. during non-school hours? or Do you feel the child needs to have a strong like minded company? If you have answers to all these questions, this Survey could help you since we divide a particular School’s rating based on individual parameters and then we come up with overall ratings based on a well researched weightage given to these parameters.
This year, along with SchoolBrainer, we researched around 50 schools in Noida. Ratings for few of these schools are primarily based on lineage, prospective parent’s feedback, planned/current infrastructure and submitted survey form, if applicable.
This year, we have re-adjusted our calculation of overall ratings for the school. We have taken 20% of Academics, 20% of Safety/Security and 20% of Individual attention to child as key parameters for overall ratings. These parameters are given highest weightage based on an online Survey we had run 4 months back. Other than these parameters, 15% of Co-curricular, 10% of Extra-curricular and 5% each of ‘Parents-Teacher Interaction’, ‘Infrastructure’ and ‘Teacher Welfare’ have been considered. More details of each parameter will follow after the list of Best schools in Noida 2018 which is given below:

Pingback: Delhi NCR School admissions 2021 - 2022 | Go4 School Reviews and More
It’s really helpful thanks for sharing list of top schools in noida/ greater noida
Eagerly waiting for updated list for this year. Please update
Which is better? Mayoor or Somerville school?
Lvis Noida has again done well on average class XII score
How is Prometheus school expected to be? Currently infrastructure is being developed but sports infrastructure looks well planned. Confused. Anybody got their child admitted?
How is lotus valley international in noi da expressway when compared to dps on noida expressway
Lvis is better, better academics, better infrastructure
Lvis is better. DPS has good staff and thats all. Very difficult to reach management.
Sapphire is one of the best leading international schools in Noida. This institute has envisaged a holistic education with strong sense of values combining academic excellence and state of the art infrastructure. For more info. visit sapphireschool.in/noida.
Could you share the fees structure for sapphire school please. I am looking for admission for my kid. I stay in Ajnara homes 121
Hi, Wanted to get reviews for Genesis. Is it worth the fee charged
Genesis is not worth the fees. It has lot of xtra curricular focus. Also, few good teachers moved out of late.
Hi parents, I am looking for a school for my kid which follows international curriculum in Noida. Please advise on options as soon as possible isnce we are moving back from states next month and want to finalise something by then.
Dear Shilpi,
For International Curriculum Schools, you may try:
1. Pathways School, Noida.
2. Genesis Global School, Noida.
These schools are affiliated to IB and follow International Curriculum.
Regards
can also see Global Indian International school
or you can connect on [email protected]
A new school viz. Prometheus School has come up in sector 131. How is it? Anybody has seen the school?
The principal is experienced. Looks more like gyanshree. More competition in offing.
How good is ramagya school in Noida?
Ramagya school has excellent sports facilitiesand involvement in curricular activities like Debate, Stage performance development is good. Academics has a mixed review from parents I know and have talked to. Even I am confused between Ramagya and Billabong because my kid has deep rooted interest in sports.
Very good school. They are also improving in academics by bringing experienced teachers.
How is Gyanshree? I am getting Lot of mixed reviews. Attrition is high but lot of satisfied parents as well.
Good for sports and mixed development. Academics is just ok. Since last year, approaching senior staff is difficult.
Jbm or DPS expressway. Please help me decide. Both academic and sports is a priority for me for my child who is going to join in class 2nd.
Teachers are better in DPS Expressway but sports facilities are far better in JBM. Co-curricular activities wise, both are similar.
I’m getting my son in lotus valley pre-nursery. But of late, read some bad words on other forums. Plz help. How’s step by step? Can we migrate him to step by step nursery next year?
Is there any age criteria for nursery admissions at sbs?
Yes, 2.5 years for pre-nursery.
Hi Nidhi, there are some issues with junior classes but senior classes are all good in LVIS. Step by step is a tough nut to crack. It is advisable and as a matter of fact, it is easier to get admissions there in pre-nursery.
Thanks Kunal.
Is there any other school (preferably non IB) in Noida that’s recommended for primary n junior classes. I’m concerned more as these are the formative years. We’re looking for a school near expressway.
Near Noida Expressway,
1. Shiv Nadar School (CBSE)
2. Step By Step School (CBSE)
3. Lotus Valley International School (CBSE)
4. Delhi Public School Sector- 132 (CBSE)
5. The Shriram Millennium School (ICSE)
These are a few good non IB schools near the location preferred by You
ALL THE BEST!!?
Good list. Thanks for the leads.
Shiv nadar and tsms are also good options.
As per my knowledge, all schools with traditionally good background, are yet to fill in. Many because of people movement to newer regions like noida extension. Mayoor advertising this time of the year is bit surprising.
How is Shriram millennium when it comes to infrastructure? Does it provide sport facilities?
Yes, open space is limited. but they have facilities for all sports even cricket. but its obviously net cricket.
Please can someone tell me what makes step by step special. I have been trying for admission for my kid for primary year but never managed to get a call.
Step by step has a very good sports infra and provides excellent exposure to both Co-curricular and extra curricular activities. The results of both IB and CBSE are very good.
I am confused between TSMS and shiv Nadar on Noida expressway. Please advise which is better and why?
It finally boils down to the board you are comfortable with. TSMS follows ICSE and shiv Nadar follows CBSE Otherwise both are similar. Infra of shiv Nadar is bit better.
Please can someone tell what makes step by step so special.
Hi, kindly advise about the millennium school. Educomp has pulled out of TSMS so it’s in dire state, isn’t it?
If you are talking of the millennium school alone, yes, it has faded of late and lot of mixed reviews from parents too.
The Millennium School, Noida is a very good school if you choose to opt for CBSE Board. Educomp has pulled out of The Shriram Millennium School, and not The Millennium School. TMS still has Educomp as its Pedagogy Partner.
You can get reviews from anywhere, but one thing I would like to request here is your trust. If you believe in a revolutionising education and not the rote learning system, if you opt for CBSE, then surely The Millennium Schools, Sector 41&119 will meet up your all expectations.
All The Best!!?
That’s true! And TMS (The Millennium School) is a very constructive choice one can make for their children.
One thing which needs to be added here is that both the schools are affiliated to different boards. While the Shriram Millennium is ICSE, THE MILLENNIUM SCHOOLS are CBSE.
Educomp has pulled out of The Shriram Millennium Schools (TSMS), and not from The Millennium Schools (TMS).
TMS is affiliated to CBSE, while TSMS is affiliated to ICSE
Gyanshree or dps expressway? Need suggestion
DPS expressway puts lot of focus on academics while gyanshree on extra curricular activities.
As of now, DPS expressway is a better choice as per my pov.
How is jbm school for overall development of kid. Looking for admissions to class nursery.
It has quite good sport option. The academic coordinator is good. Other than few teachers, not many are experienced and that’s why there are issues. Principal needs to be more experienced though.
Question received on email from Mr Ghosh:
We will be very shortly moving from Chennai to Noida,UP by the end of this month. As my son
reading in Class V will have to be readmitted in middle of the term We have got some response from the
following schools.
!)Ramagya School,2)Billabong High School,3)Fortune World School,4)Indus Valley School,5)Indraprastha
Global School,6)_Manthan School
Please help me with your observations regarding the schools to help a lady who will be
COMPLETELY NEW TO NOIDA.
Assuming that you would be more inclined towards academics and necessarily want to think of one of these 6 schools, Ramagya, Billabong and Indus valley are options you must explore.
How is Billabong in comparison to ramagya school Noida
Both are ordinary in comparison to schools nearby. Especially their academics and staff is nothing great to take note of.
Any advise on whwther to choose Kothari or Khaitan. I have got mixed reviews of both the schools and unable to decide at all.
Which is most value for money project in Noida. Means less fees and more output.
VBS is considered a good option. It offers plenty of activities at low fees. However, the class sizes are big and hence individual attention offered is little.
The Millennium School, Sector 41 & 119, Noida will be the one most suitable.
If by chance, you don’t get response from this school, you might also try:
Presidium School
Amity international school
Hi team, please help me understand how is the Indus valley school in comparison to GIIS. I stay in PAN society in sector 70.
GIIS is not good in acads. Hence I would suggest you to go with Indus valley in comparison.
GIIS follows International Methodologies of teaching, while Indus Valley follows CBSE Curriculum.
GIIS has a very good hold in its field, but Indus valley is lagging behind.
So, if you prefer international Board, then go with GIIS, or if you choose for CBSE, then it is recommended to also look out for other CBSE options as well.
I will not advise on gyanshree as an option. They are spending a lot on infra but then don’t know how to handle parents. Sorry. Bad experience for me.
I want to go for semi traditional school. Which of DPS expressway or Jaypee school is good and why.
My child goes to DPS expressway. Junior classes are not good but senior faculty is good. Overall better than Jaypee.
MRIS versus Billabong Noida please. Which is better
MRIS is better since it has more experienced faculty. Co-curricular options wise both are similar.
How has Somerville international turned up academics wise
It had its first session this year. Average results.
I am looking for admissions for my kid. I am impressed by Kothari and Cambridge. Please advise which of the 2 is better and why.
How about aspam Scottish? Is it good in academics?
It has good focus on extra curricular but otherwise, it is yet to prove itself.
Very well drafted list. Only thing I feel is Kothari should come above jbm and fortune world school
I want to choose between jbm, mayoor , gyanshree, Kothari and GIIS. Please suggest which is best for class 2.
For class 2, gyanshree would be the best. However, if you prefer GIIS, then it’s better to choose The Millennium School in place of GIIS, as it is not very far from GIIS (SECTOR 119), also, it’s better than GIIS.
however, there’s a stiff competition between gyanshree and Millennium. While gyanshree is only in Noida, Millennium has a pan India presence. But, gyanshree has a greater transport coverage in noida. So, it’d be more convenient for you.
Rest, mayoor, jbm, kothari aren’t very promising schools yet.
How is shanti international school?
I am confused between Gyanshree and mayoor. Gyanshree is growing while Mayoor has proven itself on acads but failed on other aspects.
I am little perplexed by the way schools conduct their admission process. Few base their selection of interview process completely.
How is Indus valley in comparison to GIIS? I am looking for overall development of my kid.
How is fortune world school please. I stay in sector 82 and want a school close by
Thanks for the school feedback. I need to choose between jbm and DPS 132 on expressway. Please suggest.
Hi thanks for the list…..can you please rank order between The Khaitan School, Cambridge Noida & DPS 132 expressway?
Hi. Could you please share your preferences for parameters. Considering the whole picture, we would rate them as following: Khaitan > Cambridge > DPS 132
Khaitan is much better than the other two. DPS 132 is good for senior classes.
Hi- Can you pls share more info on GIIS school. Also which is better between Kothari and Cambridge school?
Hello. Kothari versus Cambridge-Both are equally good faculty and Academic results wise. Individual attention is limited in Cambridge. Sports infra is better in Cambridge.
GIIS has mixed review from parents from ‘value for money’ perspective. Faculty is decent, security is good. However, some concerns are raised on ‘individual attention’ and ‘resolution of concerns’ front.
Khaitan is better than Kothari. But if you have already finalized these two mentioned schools, you shall choose Kothari. GIIS is good for international events exposure. There are some known transport issues there. But if you are not opting for their transport, it’s a decent choice.
Kothari is good in comparison. GIIS acads is average. Rest is good.
The educational approach at GIIS is such that rather than structuring the learning around a strict curriculum, they focus on innovative learning. The school is a bit small areawise, so, no large open playgrounds. However, if you are interested in GIIS, then you should go for The Millennium School sector 119.
It’s based on the same league, but has much better Implementations than GIIS. also, has a pan India presence.
If you’re interested in these two schools, then you should not go for schools like kothari and Cambridge noida.
Please tell me about FAS versus Somerville Noida? I see there is little to choose between two.
FAS is better. More approachable staff. Academics and other activities exposure is similar in both schools.
How different is shriram millennium from millennium school? Which is better?
TSMS is far better because it has shri Educare as a partner. Educomp itself hasnt been successful given its inexperience on teaching. Its only focus is on teaching through children driven content.
The Shriram Millennium School is an ICSE school. it has shri Educare as its partner.
On the other hand, The Millennium Schools are affiliated to CBSE. They have Educomp as their pedagogy partner.
It will be of no use in comparing these two schools, since one is CBSE (TMS), while the other one is ICSE (TSMS).
Still, The Millennium Schools are much better, as Shri educare has not been an established brand in education and is only present in TSMS. On the other hand, Educomp has a Pan- India Presence and it is preferred by almost every school in India. So, when you have a school which has Educomp as its main partner, you should definitely choose THE MILLENNIUM SCHOOLS.
It would be incorrect to say that Shri Educare is not an established brand – as its schools adapt the value system, teaching methodology and best practices of The Shri Ram School, Delhi and Gurugram 🙂 TSMS is a very consciously value driven school.
That’s what I mentioned there! I’d quoted that Shri Educare is only present in the Shri Ram Schools and that’s it! Whereas, if you compare it with Educomp, you’ll find that Educomp is present in almost every other school in India.
So you see, Shrieducare isn’t a well- established brand in comparison to EDUCOMP!?
Pingback: Our list of top schools in Noida | Schools Real Estate and more
Hello – Can anyone tell me which school is better between JBM Global,Gyanshree and Somerville, please guide.
All have problems. Gyanshree has great infra. JBM too has great infra but both have problems with parent-teacher interaction. parents have reported that schools dont listen to their requests and concerns. Somerville intl is highly traditional and then also results were not that praiseworthy.
Thanks for sharing the just. No. 10 on the list is Khaitan Public School or The Khaitan School ? The latter is in Noida.
Thanks for pointing out. Same has been rectified.
I am confused between mayoor, Amity and apeejay school. Please tell which is better for overall development.
Among mayoor, amity and appejay, Amity is definitely better. On acads, on exposure or on faculty. individual attention too is better even though it might not be as good as other new age schools.
Amity is much better In terms of academics.
Mayoor is better in terms of Infrastructure.
Apeejay is Very Poor in all aspects.
Suggest between Indraprastha and jbm and fortune school please.
JBM is better than indraprastha and fortune especially because of extra co-ccuricular option it offers. It also has fair amount of co-curricular activiites but academics is average. Indraprastha is tad better on acads but then junior classes do not offer individual attention. Fortune is good individual attention wise.
I am confused between DPS expressway and gyanshree. Both had good results but infra is DPS is not as good. Any feedback from parents of these schools?
Gyanshree is better if academics is not a big criteria. Gyanshree has very good outdoor infra and involves kids in co-curricular activities. problem though is stubborness on some matters. But then DPS eway is even worse on this.
Thanks for sharing the updated list.
