Why termite control is a must in Noida, Greater Noida and Faridabad
Due to moisture ridden air in areas adjoining Yamuna especially Noida, Greater Noida and Faridabad, the chances of insects that thrive on moisture is much higher. Termites are just one such insect. It is however the extent of damage they can cause in short duration that is a reason for unrelenting worry.
If figures are to be believed, in India alone, hundreds of billions of rupees are put every year into repair of timber damage caused by these awful little creatures. There is another interesting fact about these insects. Termites have grown over years and now possess more than 2, 500 different species. They have the ability to cover more than 10 feet in 10 days time and can hence reach the top floor of a 35 floor building within a year. Hence, no height is safe.
One important thing to note is in 90% of cases, termites destroy stationary timber like door frames, Almirahs etc. The best way to counter termite is to control it. There are many pest control services operating in NCR. They charge anywhere between 3,000 to 9,000 for their services. They also offer 2 years to 3 years warranty as frequent checks and spreading of chemicals is critical to completely ruling out termite’s presence. As part of a phased out procedure, they inject chemicals into the cement to prevent termite from spreading. Some of the well known ones are HiCare and Orion Pest control services. They also offer domestic pest control along with standard termite control services.
Timing of the treatment is also critical. It is best suggested that the termite control be executed before your wood cabinets are placed against walls. If it is executed after that, a hole needs to be drilled through the cabinets to inject the chemical. In any case, it is suggested not to paint the walls within 3 months of the treatment so that the effect is not negated.
Remember, prevention is the least expensive cure when it comes to termite.
