Pyaar ka punchnama 2 thrives on a men’s tendency to put the blame for his failure on women
Pyaar ka punchnama 2 was released last week with a legacy to cherish. However, with prominent characters like Liquid not to be seen this time, there was skepticism around this version. With same plot and similar sequences, this surprisingly has surpassed every audience expectations. Far more trivial this time, this still turned out to be a laugh riot for many.
The vacuum created by absence of Liquid has been filled in by Sunny Singh (the child actor of famous comedy serial Dekh bhai Dekh) this time. Apart from the ever dependable Kartik and Nushrat, Sunny Singh has clearly shone in this movie.
The movie thrives on a men’s tendency to put the blame for his failure on women. And the director has made optimum use of this to engage more younger males this time. While sticking to its principle to prove women responsible for misery of a man in love, this movie has also been successful in inviting more females this time who seem to be loving certain aspects of the movie that they perhaps agree to.
Like Pyaar ka punchnama, this version has proved that the movie goers are looking for a possibly realistic casting unlike the ones where macho mans and established actors and actresses play role of a much younger genre. The songs are few and offer no dull moment throughout.
Like the previous version, this movie too leaves the hangover imprints on movie goers. Happy watching!!!
