Gaana.com’s latest ad is epitome of insensitivity towards the elders. Know why!!!
Gaana.com has come up with a latest advertisement for its music portal. The advertisement shows a young man listening to music with earphone plugged in and singing aloud inside a train.
The co-passenger who is an elderly lady points to the guy to stop singing. In an apparent attempt to prove he is cool, he goes to the extent of showing the impolite gesture of sticking out his tongue at the elderly lady. A girl sitting in view of this guy, sees all this and seems to have liked the guy for his unruly gesture.
While its quite a reflection of unimaginative marketing, it also goes to show the younger generation’s seemingly over-blowing insensitivity to society including that to the elders.

One would feel that Gaana.com was certainly better off without this ad.
