    Hello,

    The document shared herewith says it’s only a “Draft”. Also, the exact date of notification of this document is not mentioned.

    Could you please share a direct link to some govt. website where we may find this statement of builder’s liability of 3 years after obtaining OC ?

    Also, the document here is only 222KB in size. Are you sure this is the complete document ?

      Same has been updated in the article itself. Warranty is 2 years as per the actual act.

    In case the possession letter is issued by a builders,as a buyer ,what are the checks one should do. Can a possession letter be issued without completing /partially completing theservices? Even without installing Electricity meter,without basement parking? ,without fire fighting arrangement-in case of multistoried residential tower .Pl elaborate your valuable feedback refering UP building act.

      I understand you are referring to possession letter and not final demand notice. The builder can release final demand notice without CC however possession letter without the same is illegal. If however the same is issued, all services shall be offered to the owners. Please form a group and talk to NA and submit written complaint since this fire fighting arrangements thing is extremely critical.
