Kunskapsskolan School Gurgaon
What school says:
Kunskapsskolan School is a global school where students will develop in an environment that nurtures them and their uniqueness. Exposure to the varied curriculums of Kunskapsskolan schools across the continents will provide the students with an enhanced and holistic view of the world they inhabit. The subjects and concepts taught at the various grades are aligned to the CBSE curriculum.
In Kunskapsskolan, all the subjects are organized in Steps and Themes. This challenges students to stretch their boundaries, construct a solid foundation of knowledge and skills.
Subjects that are required to be learnt sequentially and progressively are taught in steps. Math and languages are step subjects. The student moves from one step to the next, once he has mastered the previous requisite step. The students understanding of the concept is assessed through presentations and projects.
The thematic courses integrate subjects. EVS, Arts and Computers are theme courses and organized around projects and missions (assignments). They are solved or carried out by using and applying what the student has learned and demonstrate the ability to use logical thinking and creativity to solve problems.
Go4Reviews take:
The infra is good and staff is hardworking. The school has been experimenting with new practical way of teaching kids that cant completely be termed analogous to experiential learning. However, there is a persistent problem of bus transport issues being reported by parents.

Hard working staff. And decent infrastructure. Much better than their international branch. But faculty for senior classes cane be improved.
As a parent, I am very satisfied with the school. I am just skeptically on the academics part. My suggestion to parents would be that if you want child to excel in studies with good number, you should avoid. Else it’s a good school.
Strong value based education. If you as a parent want international exposure and comfortable life for child, this is the best option in Gurgaon. Child would be strong in life skills but knowledge levels will be low (can’t have everything right?). The infra is good and faculty is decent.
Knowledge level of children in geography, history, civics is very poor. Clearly goes to show that the schools are just shifting knowledge base and not adding value as such.
The school has given average academic results and my kid was one of the topper. The school is good for parents who want their child to study abroad. In India, it makes life a bit comfortable for the kids.
Their first CBSE result for class X had 94% as the best result and average of around 75%
We had to get our money refunded from the school last year after our kid got admitted to school of our first choice. Getting refund itself is a headache. Not sure how receptive they are to parent’s suggestions.
Good results shown by first board examination class x batch. Infra is decent but not utlized for example no good academies onboarded. Faculty is very mixed. Some really good teachers and some.very ordinary ones that look untrained.
Average academics. good for parents looking for English speaking, confidence building school.
A very satisfying experience as parent so far. They can work on experience level of senior class teachers. I feel they are good for young child parents but you would find some issues once child reaches 6th.
The school is giving very good exposure to the child but all this comes at a cost only bearable by few. There are better inclusive options if you consider cost as well.
Many people confuse this school with the International one. This school is much more well established. strong academically and provides decent exposure on extra curricular front.
It’s a basic school but heads have strong vision. Remains to be seen how it performs in years to come.
Lot of hype. Bus transport is an issue. Sewage right next to it. The only good point is exposure to cocurricular activities.
