Nursery admission age criteria in Gurgaon schools

Unlike Delhi or Noida where age criteria for Nursery admissions is more or less same, schools in Gurgaon do not follow a consistent pattern. Different schools have different Nursery admission age criteria in Gurgaon schools. The age criteria for pre-nursery admission ranges from 2 to 3 years while age criteria for nursery admissions in Gurgaon range from 3 to 4 years.

Schools in Gurgaon attribute this to lack of Guidelines in the region. Another factor is that in Gurgaon, there are a number of schools offering education under different boards i.e. CBSE, ICSE (see list of ICSE schools in Gurgaon) and IB (see list of IB schools in Gurgaon). So, its difficult to define a particular age group since each board has different difficulty levels of curriculum. As a result, while few schools admit a child to nursery at age of 3, others play safe by preferring a more matured age of 3.5 or 4 years. We look at the age criteria for different schools in Gurgaon (refer list of best schools in Gurgaon) as per 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 nursery admission process below:

He could be admitted to Pre-nursery in 2020 session. You need to look out for admission process that starts from June onwards.

You have an option to either get her started with one of the schools that accept children between 3 and 3.5 years old.
Or get her admitted to formal schools that have pre-nursery.
Or try a very good pre-school like Shriram early years for a year and then look for KG admissions when she is 4.

Hello Isha, please refer https://go4reviews.in/2018/07/best-schools-gurgaon-2018/ for some of the good schools. Its ok to put her into pre-nursery as its more play way in nature even in formal schools. DAV sector 14 is quite good on academics and faculty quality. however, individual attention to kid is less.

Try HDFC if the child is turning 3.3. try GD Goenka as second option. Or if you are ok, try a traditional one amongst one available

The DoE has shown no interest in this respect even when parents have been complaining since last 5 years.

Its traditional in teaching methods. However teachers are hard working and parents are satisfied on most other aspects. Acads is the only lacking factor.

Vega school is good till primary classes. After that, for VI onwards, it needs serious upgradation of faculty and facility.

Difficult to say which one is better of Vega and Kuns but lancers though extremely good on infra is yet to induct good teachers. They need to our efforts on training front.
