Best schools in Noida 2018

Before you read the complete list of Best schools in Noida 2018, it is important that parents realize that there is no binary in school education system. A school can not be simply classified as good or bad just because a survey comes up with particular perception of the school. A lot depends upon the kid’s upbringing prior to schooling and a lot depends upon the kid himself/herself. At the same time, before searching for a school, clarity of thoughts is essential. Answers to these questions are a must have: Do you feel the child is smart and confident enough and only needs a right academic direction? Do you feel all that the child needs is to grow in confidence? Do you feel child needs to find a career in sports or other extra co-curricular opportunities? Do you feel you can put the extra hard work by taking your kid to coaching/training in sports/music etc. during non-school hours? or Do you feel the child needs to have a strong like minded company? If you have answers to all these questions, this Survey could help you since we divide a particular School’s rating based on individual parameters and then we come up with overall ratings based on a well researched weightage given to these parameters.

This year, along with SchoolBrainer, we researched around 50 schools in Noida. Ratings for few of these schools are primarily based on lineage, prospective parent’s feedback, planned/current infrastructure and submitted survey form, if applicable.

This year, we have re-adjusted our calculation of overall ratings for the school. We have taken 20% of Academics, 20% of Safety/Security and 20% of Individual attention to child as key parameters for overall ratings. These parameters are given highest weightage based on an online Survey we had run 4 months back. Other than these parameters, 15% of Co-curricular, 10% of Extra-curricular and 5% each of ‘Parents-Teacher Interaction’, ‘Infrastructure’ and ‘Teacher Welfare’ have been considered. More details of each parameter will follow after the list of Best schools in Noida 2018 which is given below:

The Survey for best schools in Noida 2018 took the following into consideration:

  1. Survey forms submitted by 5 Parents and 5 non-Parents for each school/Desk Survey
  2. Survey form submitted by schools (only around 10 of 60 schools didn’t respond to requests and for such cases, the weight-age of consideration # 3 was extended)
  3. Teacher Survey form submitted by teachers where received
  4. Ratings/Reviews for schools given at individual school links given at https://go4reviews.in/category/blog/education/noida-schools/ and https://go4reviews.in/2014/09/comparison-of-noida-expressway-schools/ and
  5. SchoolBrainer’s Social Sentiment Analytics
  6. Online survey conducted during period Oct-Nov’17

‘Survey Form’ and ‘Parents Feedback/Desk Survey’ constituted 30% each while ‘Online Survey/reviews’ and ‘Social Analytics’ constituted 20% each.

The schools were surveyed on following parameters:

  1. Academics – Defined by board results (if applicable), principal/headmistress/academic coordinator lineage, average experience level of teachers, criteria for employment.
  2. Individual attention to child – Defined by Student Teacher Ratio, Parent’s Feedback.
  3. Safety/Security – Defined by Safety measures at Gates, CCTVs, Number of Floors, flooring/pool/play area safety, Bus safety standards, Parent’s Feedback.
  4. Infrastructure – Defined by indoor/outdoor facilities/amenities and quality of infra.
  5. Parents involvement – Defined by PTMs, Number of Events where parents are invited, Parent’s Feedback.
  6. Co-curricular -Defined by Intra and Inter school Events conducted, Parents Feedback.
  7. Extra curricular -Defined by Intra and Inter school Events conducted, Association with Play academies, Play area infra, Parents Feedback.
  8. Teacher Welfare -Number of holidays for teachers, average working hours, Teacher Welfare Survey feedback.

Note: The collective points were rounded off to nearest multiple of 5. Where the Total points for two or more schools were same, Schools that rank high on Academics was ranked higher overall.

Write to us if you have questions about these schools or would like us to review any other school (we need around 2 weeks for completing reviews of a school).

For International Curriculum Schools, you may try:
      1. Pathways School, Noida.
      2. Genesis Global School, Noida.
These schools are affiliated to IB and follow International Curriculum.

The Millennium School, Noida is a very good school if you choose to opt for CBSE Board. Educomp has pulled out of The Shriram Millennium School, and not The Millennium School. TMS still has Educomp as its Pedagogy Partner.
You can get reviews from anywhere, but one thing I would like to request here is your trust. If you believe in a revolutionising education and not the rote learning system, if you opt for CBSE, then surely The Millennium Schools, Sector 41&119 will meet up your all expectations.

That’s true! And TMS (The Millennium School) is a very constructive choice one can make for their children.
One thing which needs to be added here is that both the schools are affiliated to different boards. While the Shriram Millennium is ICSE, THE MILLENNIUM SCHOOLS are CBSE.

GIIS has a very good hold in its field, but Indus valley is lagging behind.
So, if you prefer international Board, then go with GIIS, or if you choose for CBSE, then it is recommended to also look out for other CBSE options as well.

however, there’s a stiff competition between gyanshree and Millennium. While gyanshree is only in Noida, Millennium has a pan India presence. But, gyanshree has a greater transport coverage in noida. So, it’d be more convenient for you.

Hello. Kothari versus Cambridge-Both are equally good faculty and Academic results wise. Individual attention is limited in Cambridge. Sports infra is better in Cambridge.
GIIS has mixed review from parents from ‘value for money’ perspective. Faculty is decent, security is good. However, some concerns are raised on ‘individual attention’ and ‘resolution of concerns’ front.

Khaitan is better than Kothari. But if you have already finalized these two mentioned schools, you shall choose Kothari. GIIS is good for international events exposure. There are some known transport issues there. But if you are not opting for their transport, it’s a decent choice.

The educational approach at GIIS is such that rather than structuring the learning around a strict curriculum, they focus on innovative learning. The school is a bit small areawise, so, no large open playgrounds. However, if you are interested in GIIS, then you should go for The Millennium School sector 119.
It’s based on the same league, but has much better Implementations than GIIS. also, has a pan India presence.
If you’re interested in these two schools, then you should not go for schools like kothari and Cambridge noida.

FAS is better. More approachable staff. Academics and other activities exposure is similar in both schools.

TSMS is far better because it has shri Educare as a partner. Educomp itself hasnt been successful given its inexperience on teaching. Its only focus is on teaching through children driven content.

The Shriram Millennium School is an ICSE school. it has shri Educare as its partner.
On the other hand, The Millennium Schools are affiliated to CBSE. They have Educomp as their pedagogy partner.

It will be of no use in comparing these two schools, since one is CBSE (TMS), while the other one is ICSE (TSMS).

Still, The Millennium Schools are much better, as Shri educare has not been an established brand in education and is only present in TSMS. On the other hand, Educomp has a Pan- India Presence and it is preferred by almost every school in India. So, when you have a school which has Educomp as its main partner, you should definitely choose THE MILLENNIUM SCHOOLS.

It would be incorrect to say that Shri Educare is not an established brand – as its schools adapt the value system, teaching methodology and best practices of The Shri Ram School, Delhi and Gurugram 🙂 TSMS is a very consciously value driven school.

That’s what I mentioned there! I’d quoted that Shri Educare is only present in the Shri Ram Schools and that’s it! Whereas, if you compare it with Educomp, you’ll find that Educomp is present in almost every other school in India.
So you see, Shrieducare isn’t a well- established brand in comparison to EDUCOMP!?

All have problems. Gyanshree has great infra. JBM too has great infra but both have problems with parent-teacher interaction. parents have reported that schools dont listen to their requests and concerns. Somerville intl is highly traditional and then also results were not that praiseworthy.

Among mayoor, amity and appejay, Amity is definitely better. On acads, on exposure or on faculty. individual attention too is better even though it might not be as good as other new age schools.

JBM is better than indraprastha and fortune especially because of extra co-ccuricular option it offers. It also has fair amount of co-curricular activiites but academics is average. Indraprastha is tad better on acads but then junior classes do not offer individual attention. Fortune is good individual attention wise.

I am confused between DPS expressway and gyanshree. Both had good results but infra is DPS is not as good. Any feedback from parents of these schools?

Gyanshree is better if academics is not a big criteria. Gyanshree has very good outdoor infra and involves kids in co-curricular activities. problem though is stubborness on some matters. But then DPS eway is even worse on this.
