Unfortunately SIS (Sommerville International School, Noida Sector 132) has commercialized the noble business of education. My children are studying in SIS and school management has increased the fee in the form of composite fee (from Rs. 9500/- per month to Rs. 11686/- per month) which is unreasonable and clear violations of Gautam Buddha Nagar DFRC govt. recommendations. This is the only school in Noida which has increased school fees by 22% during this pandemics in form of composite fee. I had paid SIS last year full fee for online classes & there’s no real value addition for small kids. SIS management really doesn’t care about the issues parents are facing during this difficult unprecedented time. Children are already studying online & there’s no expenditure of electricity, water, lab, maintenance etc. on school side & despite of SIS forcefully increased fees in form of composite fee. It’s nothing but harassment for parents.
Parents are already unnecessarily being burdened as they need to purchase gadgets like laptops or mobile handsets along with Internet services. When this school began operations, the fees were low, but multiplied over the years as neither parents nor the government opposed the move. Now, the fees are out of bounds for parents.

They are still basking on the glory of their main noida branch. Fees is one of the lowest in the region and there is a reason why.

Do you consider Rs. 12000/- per month per child for online classes is low fee? Jaago parents Jaago.
The school took government land at dirt cheap rates under the pretext of a charitable organization to start school operation & now they have commercialized the noble business of education. Can they surrender government land and purchase a new one in market rates? If no, then why school management forcefully increased fees ? When this schools began operation, the fees were reasonable, but multiplied over the years as neither parents nor the government opposed the move. Now, the fees are out of bounds for the parents. Its an irony that these private schools/educational institutions are commerciallized & deviating from their primary objective of noble education.
