Different heads that constitute maintenance of a society

For residents of a society whose maintenance is controlled by builder or RWA, there is an obvious question of where the maintenance charges that I am paying monthly is being utilized. We share below the different heads that constitute maintenance of a society. We hope this would also help you gauge how much maintenance should actually be charged from you. This would also help assist the resident welfare associations that are soon going to take the maintenance reigns from the builder.

The above figures may vary depending upon location. We have used safe figures under the Monthly expenses column i.e. the real expenditure should be close but lesser than the above figures.
