When its an excellent work of art, it is always appreciated. But isn’t it somewhat strange when such piece of work is not promoted. We see some of these biased songs that were not promoted the way they should have been:
Dhoom tere ishq ki – Karzzz This is one of the best work by the unconventional singer Himesh Reshammiya. From his another average movie which had a decent promotion, this song didn’t get its due.
Laakh duniya kahe – Talaash The song shown along with the credits in the movie was not promoted at all before the release. Other songs were also reasonably under-promoted as story was the key.
Rangrez – Tanu weds Manu A music blockbuster, the rendition of this song by the music composer Krsna was completely ignored. It turned out to be one of the most lovable classical song of the movie.
Safarnama – Tamaasha Another musical extravaganza by AR Rehman and too many songs to promote. As a result, this song sung by Lucky Ali sunk deep in the dark.
Ho gaya hai pyar – Tanu weds Manu returns Not as good as it’s predecessor ‘Tanu weds Manu’, the music of this movie was still decent. However, songs like ‘Girl’ and ‘Ho gaya hai pyar’ got ignored.
Kuch kum – Dostana Dostana had a number of songs that did well. It was obvious one would be the loser. ‘Kuch kum’ was just one of them.
Bolo na – Chittagong The song that helped Shankar win National award during the year Chittagong was launched, has a serene aura around it.
Subanallah – Yeh Jawaani hai deewani Another musical hit, the song went up the charts only post movie release.
Sooha Saha – Highway One of the most mesmerizing song from the movie, this has been beautifully sung. The folk touch lended to this song is quite appealing.
