NCR Electricity tariff calculator

We have got some queries related to the taxes, duties and surcharges that constitute the electricity tariff especially in Delhi NCR. In order to help our readers come up with an estimate of electricity tariff on their own based on their actual electricity consumption, we have created a calculator. The two factors that define the tariff are sanctioned load and units consumed.

The calculations are based on Paschim Vidyut Vitran Nigam’s June, 2015 notification and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam’s May, 2015 notification.

For Group Housing Societies in Noida/Ghazibad above tariff is not applicable as most of the builders (99%) has taken bulk point single connection and as per which
    1) Per unit cost is fixed as Rd 5.50
    2) Fixed charges are Rs 95/KW
    3) Builder can charge upto 10% as transmission loss .

So for Group houing/flats Power tariff is the costliest one.

    Thanks,
    Amit

Thanks for sharing Amit. But, there are builders charging 75 per KW or 85 per KW. Can you confirm the fixed charge part?
